| This page contains the status of all new orders for Windupkeys as of NOTE: New change in status page. I'm now only reporting actual expected ship dates based on having all the required parts ready to assemble. A new column is added for expected completion of all parts. Ship dates will then be posted after the parts actually arrive. See more details below table.
I will be traveling for a couple of weeks, but have managed to complete and ship all keys which I currently had all the parts for. The next week to start building more keys will be the week of July 19th. Individuals can check their status by looking in the list above for their "unit number" which should have been included in one of their reply emails. Not all keys are progressing in the same time frame due to special options in shape, color and/or the specific model. The expected ship date is based on having all parts in hand and ready to assemble. This also accounts for known interrupts. The expecetd date for all parts to be ready for assembly is based on current supplier schedules and does not include the unexpected interruptions from my day job, relatives visiting, trips out-of-town, sickness, etc. The building process involves a key and a base. Each part must be cut, then welded, then powder coated (or chrome plated), and then finally assembled. These are the four main steps for both the key and the base. Because scheduling can be unpredictable at times, I ask that customers do not send their final payment balance until I send an email with a final payment request. Paying in full does not hurry along my suppliers..... [Home] [History] [Construction] [Models] [FAQ] Revised: |
