They mount using a custom plate that fits under the original license plate frame.
Power for the motorized versions is supplied from the license plate light circuit. No drilling is required.
Works on both the sedan and late model convertible (Cabrio) models.
For the earlier model Mini use the general purpose license plate mount design.
